Background

I am an undergraduate student studying Computer Science with a concentration in Software Design and Development. I am working to create a user-friendly visualization tool for collected climate data. The data is processed through Python scripts in order to produce graphic visualizations of specific climate variables (surface temperature, precipitation, etc.). The tool will be web based for easy access and will be customizable based on the user’s input. A visual model will be produced that can be easily interpreted by people to gain an improved understanding of Earth’s changing climate.
